I met Logan just last semester, but it didn’t take long to realize he was the kind of person you never forget.
With his bleach-blonde hair, easy smile, and constant laugh, he had a way of making every moment feel lighter. Logan loved anything that involved a board such as surfing, snowboarding, and skating, if it was about being outside and chasing the next adventure, he was all in. But more than that, he loved the people around him.
He had a natural way of bringing others together and making everyone feel like they belonged.
One of my favorite memories with Logan perfectly captures who he was. I once asked him if he would go on a blind date for a piece of social media content I was filming, and without hesitation he was completely in. It was spontaneous and a little chaotic, but Logan embraced it like he embraced everything in life, with a huge smile and constant laughter. On the way to the beach we ran into a muddy section of the path, and I ended up giving him a piggyback ride so he could get across. The whole time he was just laughing, smiling, and enjoying the moment. That was Logan. Always down for the adventure and always making everyone around him smile.
Logan lived in a way that inspired the people around him to be kinder, more spontaneous, and more present in every moment.
His family created a phrase that perfectly captures the way he lived: “Live Like Logan.” To us, that means living with the same joy, courage, and positivity that he brought into the world every single day. His energy and spirit left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him.
